    BIOG: Something In Construction started in 2005. We have released folk, disco, artrock, symphonic pop, hip hop, rock'n'roll, electronica and some more disco. We have to stand by our history, so we only ever release bands that we love, which is probably why we are yet to get to 100 releases (it's coming soon) and why we are still here.

    Currently we are home to MEMORY TAPES, AIR FRANCE, THE SILENT LEAGUE, NIVA, THE CONCRETES, GUARDS, THE GAY BLADES and THE REST.
    Previously we have been AKIRA THE DON, LONEY DEAR, 69CORP, FITNESS CLUB FIASCO, CHRISTIAN SILVA and OTHER PASSENGERS among others.
    Our regular compilations have debuted acts like LEISURE SOCIETY, CLASS ACTRESS, DELOREAN, FREELANCE WHALES, MINIATURE TIGERS, WASHED OUT and more.

    We basically like pop music, a tune you can whistle. And cleverness, ideas and style. if there is a common thread running through the catalogue; it's that. Smart left-of-centre pop music. There is probably no higher artistic calling. We do both deep and shallow music and have time for both.

    Anyway, very pleased to meet you. If you are reading this, may we say how nice your hair is looking and that you have lost weight and we never for a moment thought you did that thing that we heard you did.
    Furthermore, if you like one of our bands, and are as smart as we think you are, then mebbe you'll like more.
